Week XXXIV: Isaiah 43-60, Psalms 39-44

Continuing on in our month-long study of the Book of Isaiah, we consider text that is often considered the premonition of Jesus and John the Baptist. Is that the case? Is there a double meaning ? Let's continue on in the Biblical Wild!

Questions to consider:

1. Does the notion of double meaning in scripture challenge your long-held faith beliefs?

2. How do you hold both the original meaning and the reinterpreted meaning to be true at the same time?
