Week XXXVII: Jeremiah 31-45, Psalms 57-62

This week, we continue on in the book of Jeremiah and at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

The Book of Jeremiah, a collection that gave shape to an emerging self-understanding among the Jewish people begins by issuing a series of dire warnings that led to feelings of despair and feelings of disillusionment.

Question to consider:

1 - What is your own experience of the effectiveness of dire warnings?

2 - What makes warnings work to change behavior? Not work?
