Week XLVII: Amos 7-Jonah 2, Psalms 115-119

This week we study the Book of Obadiah, the briefest prophetic book in the Bible. In Obadiah we see conflict between nations that are linked historically and culturally and make connections to situations happening throughout the world today.

Questions -

1 - How might the attitudes in the Book of Obadiah inform our claims to full sovereignty over a land that was once also occupied by other people?

2 - What biblical texts might inform an alternative interpretation of possession - perhaps shared stewardship instead?
