WHAT IS

THE BIBLICAL WILD?

The Biblical Wild is an interactive bible study for individuals, small groups, neighborhoods, and congregations where we will journey into the wilds of Holy Scripture through daily readings of the Old Testament and Psalms and weekly video reflections presented by the Rt. Week L: Habakkuk 1-Zephaniah 3, Psalms 128-133

Our continued study for he Minor Prophets leads us to consider three books that share a common theme - Nahum, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah. Taken together, they may be seen as “Prophets of the Day of the Lord” or prophets with a triumphalist notion of God as ultimate conqueror.

Questions -

1 - When have you felt God was on your side and not on someone else’s side?

2 - How do you reconcile this feeling with an understanding that God is God of all creation?

3 - How does praying for the “other” open your own heart to a love for all, even your enemy?
