RECENT POSTS:

This week on The Biblical Wild, we begin the Book of Leviticus with a "mountain top perspective".

Using themes of sacrifice and mediation, Bishop Ousley looks at how the People of Isreal worked to create connection with Holiness throughout their journey to the Promised Land. We also take a look at how these themes are transferred to today's Christians and how this calls us to live for justice and mercy in our communities.

Special thanks to the people of St. John's, Saginaw for being our wonderful hosts this week.

This week, Bishop Ousley talks about the role of law in building a Godly community. Following the people of Israel, we will look at how order and compassion work together within our lives and how ancient traditions follow us in today's congregations.

Questions to consider:

1 - How do you manage the tension between order and compassion?

2 - Where do you find reconciliation and forgiveness?

Special thanks to the people of St. John's, Saginaw for being our wonderful hosts this week.

In this episode, Bishop Ousley takes to the shores of the Saginaw Bay to follow the story of Moses, a man who spoke out against injustice and led his people out of Egypt.

Questions to consider:

1 - How do you resist God's call?

2 - How does that resistance fall away?

3 - In what ways is God calling you to be a voice against injustice?
